If you have some time today, trawl the internet for the numerous and varied material on the non-violent protests of the civil rights movement.
Also, get on with your Extended Response. Plan your essay - what factors will make up the main section? Start to take some notes.

Next week all Int2 pupils MUST hand in a full 1st draft of their Extended Response. You have been working on this since January and you have no excuses for not producing your best work. We will be using the following marking instructions to mark them so I advise you to have a look at what we will be looking for.

Some help from previous blog posts can be found if you look in the S4 category.

Here is the list of essay titles I spoke about today, taken from previous SQA exams. You can use this to practice writing intorductions, conclusions and the outline of what could make up the main section.

Good morning. Mr Parker's class may have been given some instructions but generally, you should be working on Free at Last (if you don't have your stuff at home - why not??). Int2 pupils should be starting to consider their Extended Response (see my previous post of the 17/12/10). We can't fall behind any further so please work and keep up.

More snow and closures but please don't fall further behind. These are not holidays; they are days of learning and exam preparation missed, so don't waste them.
You need to start thinking about the Extended Response, so here is the help sheet to help you get started:
Just in case this cold spell and snow showers continue, here is some work to keep you up to date.
You could be working through the Free at Last Questions, so work through as many as you can.
If you can find past paper questions to do, then do as many as you can.
Here is a website worth spending time on.
S5 Int2 pupils should be working through the Germany unit and doing as many past paper questions as possible.
Focus and stay busy!

Hi! Sorry I missed you last week and now the snow is preventing us from meeting up. What I can do here is to remind you of a few things I went over just before the prelims started.
Good luck.
