The Perfect Tense (past) - Online exercises

Guten Morgen!

Today you are going to work on your knowledge of the past tense.

Below is a link to a series of grammar exercises about the formation of the past tense in German. Rememeber there are certain things you have to remember about the past tense:

1. choose the correct form of haben or sein. (Most verbs use haben but those that take sein often have some motion involved
2. remember the past participle...check the verb table...it goes to the end of the sentence

When you arrive on the site click deutsch from the menu on the left, then grammar from the menu across the top, then click on the perfect tense, introduction and instructions will tell you all you need to know about doing the exercises.
