Derek's Sports Report

A quiet week at The Gordon Schools.

Meteorological cconditions and prelims have meant a relatively quiet week here at TGS. The bus pupils haven't made it in for the last 2 days and are, I'm sure, deep in their books at home! Either that or sledging.

However even in the quiet time TGSi keeps on broadcasting. Once again we sent Derek off to his favourite place, Christie Park, home of Huntly FC to watch what turned out to be a closely fought local derby. We even find out more about his fascination with his favourite football club.

TGSi News

Welcome one and all to the latest edition of TGsi News as we are now going to call it.

This edition is sort of a charity edition as we are looking at the effects of HIV/AIDS on the world, how Blue Peter is helping Malawian children and how we can help people living with HIV/AIDS.

Once agian there's been a lot of work gone into this show and I'd like to thank everyone involved and wish them all a great Christmas and a fun new year.

Next session is going to be an interesting one for us at the school as HMIe is paying us a visit. Maybe we can get them to talk to us on air!!!

TGSi - Really going interactive - The Difficult Second Show

This time we are really living up to our name and we have gone interactive.

The main item on this show concerns the schools fundraising activities and here at TGSi we thought we'd like to join in by holding a competition.

Listen to the show and identify the films from which the ten quotes are taken (thanks to the quotees for that). Then text your answers in the correct order, including your name and registration class to the following number. (Texts cost your normal rate)

Entries only open to pupils of The Gordon Schools, however you can test yourself at home if you are not a pupil. Answers will be revealed next show. If there are lots of you with all 10 correct we will draw a winner at random, if not the person with the most correct answers will be declared winner. Winner will receive a book token.

TGSi - Programme 1

Finally, what you've all been waiting for.

TGSi broadcasts it's first show.

This show features a very interesting interview with our outgoing rector, Mr Swan, by Rhiannon. A chat with Laura and Fraser our School Captains and a super sports round up by Gary.

Presenters for this show are Matthew and Derek.

A mention must also go to Keith who has done a great job editing the show.
