Not quite Radio 4, but it's our 4th edition

Well we've made it to a fourth edition.

We are still going strong and are recruiting more members to the team. This show brings a welcome introduction to Katrina who will be our regular book reviewer.

This show sees us welcome Mr Griffiths our new Rector, who has given us a fascinating in depth interview in which he reveals some of his plans for the future of our school.
Matthew tells us a little bit about Huntly's famous son, George MacDonald, whilst Katrina reads us a passage from his children's fantasy, "The Princess and the Goblin".
Finally we have an interview with Bob Pegg, a musician and storyteller, who visited the school earlier this month to talk to the S1's about MacDonald.

Storytime

When Bob Pegg (a singer of tales) visited the school he not only spoke about George MacDonald, he also told a few stories. We were lucky enough to be able to record him.

Here is the tale of The Sealkiller.

The story originates in the far north east of Scotland by Duncansby Head and tells the story of a man who killed seals for a living. (Ok not very PC these days, but it was a common trade in yesteryear.)

I think it is a wonderful tale. Hopefully you will enjoy it too.
