Told my S2 French class about the slidecast to help them with their revision and played it in class and had them drill the words....they loved it.
Every single pupil in the class listened and repeated the words in unison. WHY?
Any answers?

Big, bright, colourful slides. It doesn't look like PowerPoint (and kids haven't worked out Keynote yet ;-). The pics are superb.
Ultimately, though, I wonder whether the familiar (for them) flash interface makes a link between learning and the flashboxes in their Bebo accounts. I'd love to do some comparisons with a class getting the standard PowerPoint and a control class with traditional flashcards. Fancy trying something out?
